Secondary school leaving certificate, further training to become a certified logistics master.

Why an apprenticeship and why this program in particular?

Before my apprenticeship as a warehouse clerk, I completed an EQJ (introductory qualification year). This gave me the opportunity to get to know the company and the logistics departments in particular. As I was already very interested in logistics beforehand, this strengthened my decision to start training at HEIDELBERG: Following my 2-year training as a warehouse specialist, I was offered the third year of training. I completed my training as a warehouse logistics specialist.

Why HEIDELBERG?

HEIDELBERG is a big name in the region and its vocational training programm in particular is very well regarded, so my decision fell pretty quickly on HEIDELBERG.

What is special about studying at HEIDELBERG?

The variety of activities and areas of responsibility. There's also a lot of emphasis on personal responsibility. If you want to continue your ´training, you are encouraged and supported during and after your apprenticeship.

Most interesting project during my apprenticeship?

At the end of my apprenticeship, I was allowed to accompany the introduction of an assembly supply warehouse. It was very interesting to grow with the warehouse and thus also deepen my expertise.

Current job?

Logistics foreman in incoming goods & dispatch, training officer for the logistics professions as well as instructor of forklift drivers.

How do I see my future?

I find my current job very exciting and therefore my goal is to continue to gain valuable experience in this position. I would also like to contribute my ideas and promote innovation.
