The central component of LabelSystem SC-20 is automatic cutter POLAR 137 Autotrim M which efficiently produces square-cut labels. Since POLAR's automatic cutter Autotrim M cuts both strips and labels, no strip cutter or feeder table is required. The material for producing labels must be available in the form of a jogged ream.

The workflow: The material is either manually fed via the front table, or automatically via the rear table. First of all the operator cuts the material into strips. In the automatic cutter these strips are positioned, before they are laterally aligned on the rear table before cutting. After that, the individual products are automatically cut to labels. After the labels have been cut, they are arranged on the front table. A deloading device pushes them into the BM-105 multi-station bander. After that the row pusher takes the complete label row to the banding device. The completely banded packs are pushed further onto the delivery table from where they can be manually removed for packaging.

Efficient industrial production of square-cut labels.

In square-cut label production the POLAR LabelSystem SC-21 provides maximum efficiency, because production steps are carried out in parallel mode. First of all, a POLAR high-speed cutter cuts the label material to strips, either in-line or off-line. Finishing is carried out on the automatic cutter POLAR Autocut 115, the central component of LabelSystem SC-21.

The workflow: The precut strips are manually positioned on the POLAR LT-S loading table, before they are pushed onto the Autocut rear table. In the Autocut 115 the strips are arranged on the rear table with their sides and front precisely aligned. After the labels have been cut, they are automatically arranged on the front table. A deloading device pushes them into the BM-105 multi-station bander. After that the row pusher takes the complete label row to the banding device. Once the packs are completely banded they are pushed further onto the delivery table and can be manually removed for packaging.

POLAR LabelSystem SC-25.

POLAR LabelSystem SC-25 is extremely efficient and accurate in cutting. Two strips can be processed simultaneously and help to obtain new dimensions of performance of up to 1,560 packs banded in 60 minutes. It is designed as a modular system especially for industrial manufacturing of minimum-size labels. First of all, a POLAR high-speed cutter cuts the label material to strips, either in-line or off-line. Finishing is carried out in the automatic cutter POLAR Autocut 25, the central component of LabelSystem SC-25.

The workflow: The precut strips are manually positioned on the LT-S and afterwards pushed onto the Autocut rear table. In the Autocut the strips are arranged on the rear table with their sides and front precisely aligned. Two strips, each, are cut simultaneously. After being cut, the two labels are transferred via a swivel unit into the BSduo banding device. First, the two labels are separated. Then, a feeder unit pushes them through the banding material where they are properly welded.

POLAR LabelSystem DC-11 is designed for the highly automated in-line production of banded die-cut labels. The menu-driven system setup makes operation easier and reduces make-ready time.

The workflow: First of all, a POLAR high-speed cutter cuts the label material to strips, either in-line or off-line. Automatic cutter POLAR Autocut 25 takes the strips and cuts them into label stacks. A pusher device at the Autocut 25 front table takes the label stack to the DC system die-cutter. After die-cutting the label stacks are automatically pushed to the single-station bander BD where they are banded. The ultra-sonic welding unit integrated in the BD needs no preheating, is always ready for operation and saves the material. No annoyance caused by bad smell.

The POLAR stand-alone die-cutter DC-M works in the punch through principle and is suitable for all usual label papers. It is ideal for the semi-automatic offline production of labels. Especially in the production of small-to-medium run lengths, POLAR stand-alone die-cutters are economically.

POLAR LabelSystem DC-11plus is designed for the highly automated in-line production of banded die-cut labels. The menu-driven system setup makes operation easier and reduces make-ready time.

The workflow: First of all, a POLAR high-speed cutter cuts the label material to strips, either in-line or off-line. Automatic cutter POLAR Autocut 25plus takes the strips and cuts two strips at once into label stacks. The automatic label feeding system separates the two strips and guides the individual stack automatically in front of the cutting die. After that the punching stamp pushes the stack through the cutting die (puncture principle) where the stack is given its intended shape.

After die-cutting the label stacks are automatically pushed to the single-station bander BDplus where they are banded. The ultra-sonic welding unit integrated in the BD needs no preheating, is always ready for operation and saves the material. No annoyance caused by bad smell.

POLAR LabelSystem DCC-11 is designed for the highly automated in-line production of banded die-cut labels made of compressible materials, such s OPP foils for in-mold. OptiChange makes operation easier and reduces make-ready times. Job change is possible within 15 minutes. Ultimate die-cutting precision is achieved by aligning the stack on all four sides and clamping it before the actual die-cutting process.

The workflow: First of all, a POLAR high-speed cutter cuts the label material to strips, either in-line or off-line. The strips are cut into label stacks by automatic cutting machine POLAR Autocut 25. A pusher device at the Autocut 25 front table transports the label stack to the DCC system die-cutter. After die-cutting the label stacks are automatically pushed into the banding unit where they are banded one by one (log banding is optional).

POLAR Stand-Alone Die-Cutter DCC-M.

The POLAR stand-alone die-cutter DCC-M works in the counter-pressure principle and is thus particularly suitable for special materials such as plastic, metal foil and big label forms. It is ideal for the semi-automatic offline production of labels. Especially in the production of small-to-medium run lengths, POLAR stand-alone die-cutters are economically.

The individual stack is transported by two gripper fingers to the die-cutter. Here, the stack is pressed first from the counter-pressure plate, the exact counterpart of the die. The compressed stack is pushed through the die-mould and receives his final form. The die-cut stack is fed via a shuttle to the banding unit and gets banded.
