Palm Print celebrates its 25th anniversary with the arrival of its latest digital press, the Versafire CV 80, which is being installed by Heidelberg engineers this week.
It was not an easy decision for Stefan Jahn and Lutz Ziegenhagen. A year ago, the two owners of the original Berlin print shop 15 Grad, which they started in 1993 in a living room with a Mac computer, wanted to replace their entire portfolio of digital presses.
Expectations were high: media company gilbert design druck werbetechnik in Essen was on the hunt for a new digital printing machine that would “up the technological and quality ante for our creative solutions.”
Kingsbury Press is ‘putting a toe in the water’ with digital printing, installing a Versafire CV from Heidelberg at its Doncaster plant this month.
