Printing errors need to be identified at an early stage in order to ensure there are no complaints.
Prinect Inspection Control 4 delivers top performance when it comes to sheet inspection. It ensures production of the highest quality. Two high-resolution color cameras fully check each sheet for material defects, hickeys, ink splashes, scumming and so on to prevent follow-up costs. The blower air-assisted optimized sheet guidance permits a comprehensive inspection right up to the trailing sheet edge. The system can be integrated into waste management and, if necessary, can be expanded with the InsertStar strip insert and the waste ejection.
Thanks to full integration in Intellistart 3 and in the print shop workflow, manual setup processes are completely eliminated. Prinect Inspection Control 4 sets itself up independently in the background, and triggers a PDF comparison on its own. This allows automated inspection of scanned print sheets with the help of approved reference data (PDF) from prepress. All processes are always displayed transparently in Quality Assist.
In the case of perfecting presses, the inspection system is located in front of the perfecting device and optionally in the coating unit or in the delivery of the Speedmaster XL 106. This gives you maximum flexibility and automation for both short and long runs, resulting in unbeatable productivity benefits.
