The dryer systems – quickly and efficiently into postpress

Fast finishing with DryStar LE UV and DryStar LED dryer technology. The UV preparation for the use of LED dryers enables fast processing and the expansion of the range of applications.

The coating unit – for the highest standards of finishing

New innovative coating unit with a high quality chamber doctor blade system, consisting of doctor blade chamber, exchangeable anilox roller as well as ink drip tray with level sensors for a homogeneous coating with high gloss. Quick changeover systems for doctor blades and anilox rollers to facilitate operation and increase the efficiency.

The Preset Plus feeder – high performance for quality right from the start

  • High capacity thanks to 1.3 meter high piles in the Preset Plus feeder.
  • Precise separation of a huge variety of different substrates due to Preset air settings and material-dependent speed compensation.
  • Precise sheet alignment through accurate fine adjustment of the front lays, automated sheet arrival control, and sheet slowdown.
  • Continuous production thanks to sheet monitoring by sensors and self-calibrating double-sheet detectors.

The Preset Plus delivery – perfection right down to the pile

  • Free positioning of the sheet brakes prevents marks on the sheet. They allow rapid work-and-turn and short throughput times.
  • The StaticStar antistatic technology minimizes electrostatic charging of sheets and ensures uniform sheet separation and stable sheet travel, even with static materials.
  • The Preset Plus delivery with intuitive navigation via touch-display and jogwheel ensures precise pile formation. It enables problem-free second print runs and postpress.

The sheet travel – reliable guidance through the machine

The AirTransfer system with Venturi nozzles guarantees contact-free, stable sheet transport over the entire printed stock range of substrates 0.03 to 1 mm thick.

The printing unit – designed for productivity

  • Reduced maintenance thanks to cylinder surfaces with a high-quality finish, and special gripper systems. Central remote register adjustment shortens setup times.
  • The semi-automatic plate changer AutoPlate works quickly and precisely at the touch of a button, and saves valuable makeready time.

The machine control station – one-of-a-kind navigation and automation

Prinect Press Center XL 3 control station with intuitive Intellistart 3 operator guidance system for fast, process-oriented setup, user-friendly operation, predictable results and improved performance.

The inking unit and dampening unit – quality in a nutshell

  • The speed-compensated Alcolor film dampening unit with Vario function ensures a stable ink-water balance and prevents hickeys. The inking unit with high storage capacity promises stable coloring over the entire production run.
  • The calibration-free ink fountain with 500 increments per color zone achieves continuous quality and can be cleaned quickly and easily thanks to an ink fountain liner.
  • Powerful ink mist extraction for optimum printing and printing and working conditions.
