Automation and navigation support press operators not only during automated job changes, but also throughout the entire production process. They must always be able to maintain an up-to-date overview and be advised of manual interventions whenever this is necessary. This is made possible by the Wallscreen XL with its unique Intellirun dynamic production view as well as Intelliline, the new LED navigation support at the printing and coating units.
Intellirun provides operators with the right overview at the right time in a fully automatic way; it also delivers intelligent information on the current production status. And all this without any further operating steps.
In addition, Intelliline extends the process overview and navigation of the Intelliguide, Intellistart 3 and Intellirun displays to the press. At all printing, coating and drying units, the status of the respective unit is simply displayed in color at any time - both on the operator and drive side. Intellirun and Intelliline thus open up a new, simple overall view and indicate any manual interventions that are required in a very targeted manner.

"Thanks to Intellirun, I have to select much fewer screens during makeready and production and always have all the settings directly in view at the right time," says Andreas Ostermann, operator on the Speedmaster CX 104 five-color press. "I can see all the essential settings at the right time and can therefore react much faster. The automated job changeover with Intellistart is also a significant improvement. For jobs with several signatures, I can load all the signatures at once into the Intellistart job queue. The press then processes them independently one after the other. And I simply leave the color measurement and control to the Inpress Control color measurement system. That is a great support and makes every job change easier. And during my work on the Speedmaster press, Intelliline navigates me. That’s so practical and convenient!", says a delighted Andreas Ostermann.
