Over 180 days following the installation of the Speedmaster SX 74 six-color press, equipped with a chambered doctor blade coating unit, Technical Director Mr. Jonas Jonaitis expressed his enthusiasm for the HEIDELBERG printing press. “The installation and training by HEIDELBERG Service were flawless. After six months, the press has increased our productivity by 60% to 70% compared to the previous press,” explains Jonas Jonaitis. “The exceptional stability of the sheet travel, the dampening and inking system, and the user-friendly interface are standout features of this press.”
More than 90% of our jobs are printed on metallized coated label papers ranging from 65-80 gsm. The machine operates in three shifts, seven days a week. "Our Speedmaster SX 74 allows us to produce over 1 million sheets per month, despite the majority of our jobs requiring different PANTONE® inks, leading to frequent make-readies and wash-up times. The Speedmaster SX 74 continues to surpass our expectations. The transfer system, from single suction tape feeder to delivery, ensures stability. “Especially with metallized paper, our production interruption time has almost diminished to zero,” highlights Jonaitis. “The print quality is quintessentially Speedmaster – consistently perfect.”
