Pearl Die-Cutting and Finishing is New England’s premier post-print operations company. Some services they provide are scoring, perfing, Die cutting, foil stamping, embossing and debossing.
Grit was founded in 1882 by Rev. Henry R. Wolf, Jr. who published a weekly, one-color, four-page broadsheet called the Daily Sun and Banner. In 1884, Dietrick Lamade bought the company and renamed it Grit.
What started as a part time operation run on one printing press and an Apple computer, has since expanded to become one of the premier operations in western Massachusetts, now operating in a spatial 20,000 sq. ft. facility.
This family-owned print shop boasts an impressive lineup of HEIDELBERG equipment, with the New Jersey facility housing a Speedmaster CD 74, Speedmaster SM 52, Quickmaster 46, Stitchmaster, Stahlfolder, two Windmill presses, two Cylinder presses, and two POLAR cutters.
