In response to the ongoing shortage of skilled workers, the traditional print shop Brüder Glöckler GmbH, based in Wöllersdorf in Lower Austria, recently decided to invest in more automation in its finishing operations.
From now on, the StackStar P for Stahlfolder (previouysly P-Stacker), a fully automatic stacking system based on modern robot technology, will take over the strenuous task of stacking signature packages behind the Stahlfolder TH 82 folding machine. Hand in hand with its human colleagues, the StackStar P now makes a decisive contribution to managing the production volume in two shifts - without overtime.
