Precise cutting results do not necessarily require edge-to-edge shaking: Unprinted materials with cut-out and all-around trimming, as well as suitable printed materials, do not require a shaking process.
The workflow: The material to be cut is raised to an optimal working height using a loading lift and then pushed by the operator onto the front table of the high-speed cutter. After cutting, the material is unloaded onto a pallet using an unloading lift—also at a back-friendly working height.

The POLAR CuttingSystem 200 PACE automates the loading, shaking, cutting, and unloading processes through the use of gripper and rotary gripper systems. PACE stands for POLAR Automation for Cutting Efficiency and refers to cutting systems with fully automated material handling. Compared to a conventional POLAR CuttingSystem 200, efficiency can be increased by up to 100%.
Gripper transport systems handle the transport of sheets from vibrating tables, air-board lifts, stacking racks, or a Transomat B, and feed the material to the rear table of the high-speed cutter. Material handling on the rear table is automated by the POLAR Autoturn rotary gripper , which rotates the uncut sheets.

The POLAR CuttingSystem PACE 300 automates the post-processing of unprinted or pre-cut materials.
The material to be cut is automatically loaded from the stack onto the Transomat pallet by the Transoma and then pulled onto the rear table of the high-speed cutter by the “Autotrans” gripper transport system.
The Autoturn rotary gripper with automatic feeder is the core component of the PACE cutting system. The cutting stack is rotated 90 or 180 degrees to the right or left on the rear table using the gripper system and positioned by an automatic feeder. The cut is also triggered automatically. Undivided cutting sheets can thus be cut without operator intervention. If additional cuts are required, the operator must manually rotate the individual panels during further processing of the cutting job.
This highly automated PACE cutting system requires a POLAR Autotrim high-speed cutter for the automatic removal of cutting waste.
The unloading Transomat simplifies the unloading of the high-speed cutter and optimizes the entire workflow. The intermediate or finished products are manually placed onto the Transomat’s transport pallet and then automatically and precisely set down onto a pallet.
