The integration of manroland sheetfed’s lifecycle business and global sales and service companies into Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) is proceeding according to plan. A recent customer example of this is Macron Indústria Gráfica Ltda. in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. The long-established company recently invested in a new Speedmaster CX 104-6+L from HEIDELBERG, having already commissioned a ROLAND 700 Evolution Speed in 2023.
Founded in 1948, the printing company produces high-quality packaging for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, pet care, and food industries. Key factors in the latest investment decision were the technological capabilities of HEIDELBERG, the high quality of service, the company’s long-term strategic direction, and the close collaboration between the relevant teams at HEIDELBERG and manroland sheetfed.
“For our company, the integration of manroland sheetfed’s lifecycle business into HEIDELBERG is an important step toward strengthening the industry,” says Felipe Salles Ferreira, Managing Director of Macron Indústria Gráfica Ltd. “We see this as a clear advantage for us, as we will benefit in the future from an even broader range of solutions, expanded services, and additional innovative capabilities.”
Customers benefit from an expanded portfolio
The example of Macron illustrates the additional customer benefits resulting from the integration of manroland sheetfed’s lifecycle business. manroland sheetfed systems will continue to be supported with service and spare parts. At the same time, customers gain access to the technology, service, and consumables portfolio of HEIDELBERG, including solutions from the Speedmaster range. This is made possible by the close collaboration between the teams at HEIDELBERG and manroland sheetfed. Together, they support customers world-wide with technical expertise, industry-specific consulting, and a comprehensive range of solutions across the value chain.
“Macron’s investment clearly demonstrates the added value that the integration of manroland sheetfed’s lifecycle business can create for customers. We bring together decades of experience, strong brands, proven technologies, and dedicated teams,” says Dr. David Schmedding, CSO at HEIDELBERG. “The fact that a long-standing manroland sheetfed customer is now also investing in a HEIDELBERG Speedmaster is a strong sign of confidence in our joint portfolio of services.”
