Heidelberg focuses on helping customers maximise efficiency

19/11/2018

Heidelberg is to hold a special event at its Brentford showroom on Wednesday 5 December. It will explain to printers how Push to Stop production can be achieved and enhanced using an integrated and automated workflow.

The day will offer a mix of seminars, demonstrations and Q&A sessions and will cover MIS, automated prepress production and integrated planning and analysis.

“By dividing visitors up into smaller groups, we find there is a more open discussion, a really good learning curve and greater practical and theoretical information exchange,” says Paul Chamberlain, Prinect business driver.

“We want to arm printers to cope with current trading conditions which means shorter run lengths, faster turnround times and increasing costs combined with declining print prices. Everyone has to be at maximum efficiency to optimise profits and we have the tools to do that but workflow is key to unleashing the power of the press.”

Heidelberg’s MIS system is Prinect Business Manager, its automated prepress production is Production Manager and its integrated planning and analysis is Scheduler and Analyze Point respectively.

This is not an open house and those interested will have to contact their Heidelberg representative to express an interest in attending and to see if spaces are still available. Refreshments will be provided for pre-booked visitors on the day.
