Select from our choice of Service Contracts to either simply build in regular preventative maintenance to your production schedules or, additionally, put a ceiling on the cost of sudden or unexpected breakdown and service visits through a comprehensive package.
This is a comprehensive maintenance package available when buying new machines.
The standard package gives up to 12 months' cover, but it can be extended to two or three years and be included in a finance agreement. It provides for preventative maintenance at regular intervals and all service bills are covered.
A service logbook is stamped, a real benefit when later selling the machine on.
With press contracts, the cost of the scheme is calculated on the size of machine (format and units/stations), shift pattern, number of impressions per year and geographical location. Costs for prepress and finishing are calculated according to configuration.
This is similar to Warranty Plus but for machines already in production and is purchased after the guarantee period expires.
Customers make an agreed payment per month so they can budget for all their service costs. As with Warranty Plus, the sprays, compressors and chillers are included.

With our Preventative Maintenance programme, you receive the service you need, when you need it, and thus reduce downtime to a minimum. Fully modular, our Preventative Maintenance programme gives you the option to mix and match service modules to achieve the service level that best corresponds to your needs.
Back to Basics
The Back to Basics module can be added to our "Preventative Maintenance Only", "Full Service" or "Warranty Plus" agreements. It is a pre-arranged visit following the Press Major Maintenance. It is carried out by a Press Demonstrator and the purpose is to restore the press to the originally installed set-up. The Demonstrator completes a detailed checklist which includes roller adjustment, taking ph/conductivity readings etc.

Guillotine Safety Inspections
To ensure the safety and productivity of your machines, a competent technician should regularly carry out a safety inspection of your guillotine. Available as an option to our Preventative Maintenance programmes, our Guillotine Safety Inspection module enables you to plan, budget and schedule these important visits. The module includes two visits a year. Our Safety Inspections are carried out in line with P.I.A.C. 'Blue Book' and ensure full conformity with Regulation 6 of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. This service is performed by trained, competent and fully certified Heidelberg technicians with a minimum of two years working experience on the guillotine.
Our web-based Remote Services enable you to connect your machine to our Technical Help Desk via a secure connection over the Internet.
Once the connection is established, our experts can analyse your production systems, perform troubleshooting, or give you application support.
For your prepress equipment, we can download patches or updates, and test applications to ensure proper installation and configuration.
All along the way, you keep control: no action can be performed without your permission, and you can choose to share only selected applications to preserve your privacy. Our experts can also share their own applications to demonstrate features.
