A new Stahlfolder BH with P-Stacker and Print Site Contract at Taylor Brothers.

Taylor Brothers has invested in a new Stahlfolder BH 66 6/4 and P-Stacker. The company has a long-standing relationship with Heidelberg and the order follows on from last year’s investment in two Polar 92 guillotines. The agreement also includes a Print Site Contract, the Lifecycle Smart version, which comprises supply of consumables for the press (an XL75-5 L) coupled with a service support contract.

Stephens & George is located in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales with offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow. Employing over 230 dedicated staff, their area of expertise is sheet-fed lithographic printing of magazines, brochures, catalogues, programmes, event guides and commercial products.

New folding equipment at Stephens & George.

Stephens & George completes an investment program of £16 million with Heidelberg since 2018. The new order comprises three P-Stackers, with the first delivered in October 2021 and the other two in late November. At the same time, the company also ordered a fifth TH 82 P automated Stahlfolder. The press’ investment includes a new XL 106-5+LX3, which replaces an existing nine-year-old XL106-5LX. The new Press will be in operation early 2022, after which the oldest press at Stephens & George will be just over three years old. This is their 4th press since 2018 to use full ‘push to stop’ technology.


Installation.

A new Speedmaster XL 106-6+L at Hampton Printing.

We successfully completed the installation of a new Speedmaster XL 106-6+L 2020 Generation at Hampton Printing. Hampton Printing (Bristol) Limited is the first UK customer to take advantage of the Heidelberg Subscription Plus Partnership. The agreement includes a Speedmaster XL 106-6+L, Prinect software, consumables, service support, service parts, training & consultation.
