Refresh your knowledge at the Heidelberg stand at PrintWeekLive!

30/01/2018

At PrintWeekLive!, taking place on 7 and 8 March, Montserrat Peidro-Insa, senior vice president and head of the digital print business at Heidelberg, will be interviewed by Print Week contributing editor Jo Francis. Montserrat joined Heidelberg two years ago and is instrumental in implementing the company’s ambitious plans to extend its digital press portfolio sales. It now offers three inkjet ranges (the Primefire 106 inkjet press for packaging and commercial print applications, the Gallus Labelfire label press and the Omnifire for printing onto 3D objects) and the toner-based Versafire series. Each of these product lines can operate with Heidelberg’s own Digital Front End.

Other top Heidelberg executives will also make a presentation on the business benefit of Big Data. “Using data correctly within your business can double your output and substantially increase profits,” argues Andy Rae, head of group marketing for Heidelberg. He and his colleague Anthony Thirlby, global senior vice president of the commercial segment, who has spearheaded the promotion of workflow solutions being optimised for business benefit, will co-present at PrintWeekLive! They will point to the value of Big Data and the huge impact it has on print businesses moving forward.

Heidelberg’s stand (D20) will feature a press delivery with a refreshing difference. It will output coffee! UK managing director Gerard Heanue says: “The focus of our stand will be on networking. At the last and highly successful PrintWeekLive! we displayed kit but found that the greatest value from the event was in the high level discussions with printers from a range of companies. For this reason our stand is designed for relaxation and refreshment.”

Jim Todd, sales director of Heidelberg UK, says: “We anticipate good visitor numbers at PrintWeekLive! And the opportunity to engage in discussions on business development and productivity improvement. It will take place just two weeks after our Press4Value Open House in Brentford which is where the focus will be on equipment, workflows, consumables and services. For those looking for demonstrations that is the venue; for others who want to tap into the knowledge of top Heidelberg executives and to discuss ideas and projects moving forward we will offer a warm welcome at the Wasps Arena in Coventry on 7 and 8 March."
