Speedmaster CD 74 and Speedmaster XL 106. Making the most of Heidelberg’s experience in packaging printing.

We wouldn’t recommend Heidelberg to anyone else...

“We don’t want to recommend Heidelberg to anyone else. After all, we don’t want our competitors to be able to offer the same quality we do!” says Carlo Gregori, owner of the Industrialbox print shop in Italy. “But in all seriousness – of course we would recommend Heidelberg. To us, the name is synonymous with high performance, consistency, commitment, and expertise. And that is precisely what our success is based on,” explains Carlo Gregori.

Based in Argelato in Bologna province, Industrialbox has been producing high-quality luxury packaging since 1947, and currently has a workforce of 35 working in one-and-a-half shifts. The list of the company’s customers in fashion, cosmetics, perfume, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, and high-end spirits reads like a “Who’s Who” of the major players in those industries. Of course, this makes customer expectations particularly high. However, it isn’t just quality that makes Industrialbox stand out from the crowd – its level of service is also exceptional. In addition to design and production, the company also offers a highly automated process for inserting finished products into their packaging. What’s more, Industrialbox provides advice on the ideal type of packaging for its customers’ high-quality products.

“We have been working with Heidelberg for many years and our experience has always been very positive. We have been using our Speedmaster CD 74 seven-color perfecting press with coating unit and the FoilStar cold foil module from Heidelberg since 2007. We have always been impressed by how straightforward this complex press is to operate, and feel we can rely on the excellent service team at Heidelberg,” adds Carlo Gregori. “This experience encouraged us to invest in an even more powerful and flexible press. In June, we installed a Speedmaster XL 106 with a rather unusual configuration – six printing units, a coating unit, two dryer units, one printing unit, a further coating unit, an extended delivery and the FoilStar cold foil module. This special configuration offers us a very flexible range of options for inline surface finishing and far greater performance.”
