Aumüller Druck GmbH & Co. KG, Regensburg, Germany:
Thanks to Prinect APSC, we save on makeready and waste even with small runs.

We have been using Automatic Paper Stretch Compensation in our company since April 2015. It brings us considerable benefits when working with our Speedmaster XL 106-8P with Autoplate XL and Prinect Inpress Control, which we use exclusively for the production of short and very short runs.

In the meantime, we compensate all jobs on 90 gram papers using Prinect Automatic Paper Stretch Compensation software. We're talking about a total of around 12,000 plates per month.

To achieve the register quality we were looking for, we often used to have to make the individual plates shorter by using a sheet of tissue paper as backing when printing with high ink coverage on long grain sheets. Today we also use automatic compensation for such special jobs with long grain paper.

Since we started using this software, our quality has become so good that we don't need any backing any more, nor do we need to tension the plate clamping bar. Prinect Automatic Paper Stretch Compensation saves us makeready time and waste in at least five jobs every week.

All in all, print quality is visibly much better and sometimes we can even achieve this quality faster than previously. Not only that, the printer has a more stable process thanks to Prinect Automatic Paper Stretch Compensation.
