Parksons Packaging has signed up for a brand new Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 102 six colour press, the first-ever in India. Heidelberg will be installing this extremely ‘energy-efficient’, best-in-class press at Parksons Packaging in December 2014. With this addition, Parksons would be inaugurating its 7th Heidelberg press. In a response to the latest signup, Mr. Ramesh Kejriwal, Chairman of Parksons Packaging said, Heidelberg will continue to be our partner in our journey towards future investment and growth”.
With production speed of 16,500 sheets per hour, the Speedmaster CX 102 can handle a broad spectrum of packaging substrates from thin plastic to bending-resistant cardboard. The highlight of Parksons Speedmaster CX 102 is its ‘Prinect Inpress Control’ measuring system.
This patented quality control system from Heidelberg forms a close loop with Prepress data which controls, register & colour on the fly without operator interference, resulting in almost no wastage, significantly shorter make-ready times and no colour variation during production. The highly productive Speedmaster CX 102 press is based on the state-of-the-art technology of XL class with the tried-and-tested cylinder configuration of Speedmaster CD 102, which perfectly meets the challenges in packaging printing.
Apart from this, other features include simultaneous wash up of blanket cylinder, impression cylinder and ink rollers, resulting in much faster change overs than before, sheet fed control system for faster ink reaction resulting in lesser wastage and faster make readies. Speedmaster CX 102’s Intellistart function sets up the job automatically in the least amount of time and many other new features which make this work horse a sure winner! Currently Parksons Packaging has production units at Daman, Pune and Rudrapur. The much-awaited Speedmaster CX 102 will be installed in the Daman unit.
