SPARE PARTS WARRANTY
Heidelberg will warranty any Heidelberg Original spare Mechanical Part for a period of two years, provided the part is installed by a Heidelberg technician. Should the new part fail within the two-year warranty period, Heidelberg will replace it at no charge, provided the replacement is also installed by a Heidelberg technician. The electrical parts warranty will be extended to one year, subject to the same conditions on installation. Excludes wear & tear parts. See our website for details www.heidelberg.com/us.
EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION OF THE EQUIPMENT ON THE FACE OF THIS INVOICE. SELLER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT THE ITEM SOLD HEREUNDER IS MERCHANTABLE, OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE STATED EXPRESS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL LIABILITIES OR OBLIGATIONS OF SELLER FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE DELIVERY, USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT AND ANY SOFTWARE.
INTEREST CHARGES Effective August 1, 2003, interest will be charged at a rate of 1 1/2% per month if not prohibited by law on any invoice balances due beyond the terms of the invoice for invoices dated August 1, 2003 and later.

Parts that are not covered by Warranty or Service Contract will be charged to you and payable by you based on your then current terms of sale.
Restocking Fee Policy
A Minimum 25% restocking fee will apply to all parts returned after 30 days from date of the new shipment. Please see our website at www.heidelberg.com/us or contact your customer service representative at 1-800-437-7388, prompt 4 to obtain return authorization and confirm details of your return.
Freight costs and COD fees (when applicable) are charged on all consumable orders.

Billable charges include (but are not limited to):
- 1. Hourly rate (variable according to type of equipment) is per person during regular working hours (7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 1/2 hour for lunch).
- 2. For work performed between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or from 7:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Saturday, one and one-quarter times the hourly rate will be charged. For work performed after 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday one- and one-half times the hourly rate will be charged. Work performed anytime on Sunday or holidays is charged at double the hourly rate.
- 3. Travel charges include time spent traveling to your plant and per mile charges: in some areas and for most prepress services, a special flat rate travel zone will be charged instead of time and mileage.
- 4. Lodging expenses are billed to you if it is necessary for the service technician to stay away from home overnight: a flat daily rate (per diem) in addition to the lodging expenses will be billed to you to cover other expenses (food, cleaning etc.)
- 5. Regular charges (as outlined above) will be billed to you for warranty repairs necessary on equipment not made available to us during regular working hours.
Technical Help Desk (limited availability)
Prepress – the hourly rate will be charged for telephone assistance calls unless there is an existing service contract that provides coverage. Telephone assistance is not warranted and customers will be charged for each call, even if the problem is not resolved. The hourly rate is charged to the nearest ¼ hour. All other Equipment – there is a flat rate charge per phone call.
Checks Returned By Your Bank – for any reason not Heidelberg’s error could result in a $35.00 service fee being added to your account. This fee is due and payable upon notice.
Disputes should be brought to the attention of Customer Service at 800-437-7388 as soon as possible for speedy resolution.
TERMS FOR PER-CALL SERVICE
Equipment services are chargeable according to the then effective per-call rates and terms of sale when Warranty or Service Contract does not cover service performed on equipment. Standard per call service is available for products located within the United States, Puerto Rico, Bermuda and the Bahamas.
EXPLANATION OF POTENTIAL CHANGES IN PAYMENT TERMS
If you have completed the Heidelberg USA credit application process and have been approved for Net 30 terms on Parts & Service provided by Heidelberg USA we appreciate your prompt payment. Be advised that if payment is not received on a timely basis, your terms of sale may revert to payment In Advance/Credit Card only. Retention of goods described in this invoice and acceptance of service labor, constitutes acceptance of the goods and services and all terms, conditions and pricing. If there is a dispute with the billing, you must notify us in writing within 30 days from invoice date as to the nature of the dispute. If your account remains unpaid after reverting to Cash in Advance/Credit Card it can be placed in Do Not Ship/Service status and could be placed with an outside Collection Agency or other Legal entity for further handling. If this should occur, you will be responsible for any and all fees charged to Heidelberg USA in relation to collection of any valid debt between your company and Heidelberg USA, including attorney’s fees and all other reasonable costs of collection.
