• The process couldn’t be easier; all you need is a program to open ZIP files and Adobe Reader or Acrobat on your computer
• Please read the user manual. It contains important information on use and positioning, especially of the print control strips, as well as detailed positioning instructions

• In order for a Prinect color measurement system to be able to measure and evaluate the print control strips (and Mini Spots in the case of Prinect Image Control), it needs corresponding files (measuring masks)
• If you cannot find a newly downloaded print control strip in the selection offered by your measurement system, please get in touch with the Service department of your local Heidelberg agency. Tell them your color measurement system, the software version, and the print control strip or Mini Spot you need. They will then tell you how you can get the corresponding file

• The Prinect print control strips are optimized for color control on Speedmaster presses and the use of Prinect color measurement systems. They are in EPS and PDF format so they can be processed using popular workflows
• Heidelberg does not provide any warranty for correct use on third-party systems due to the variety of application programs
• You will also find control elements (Mini Spots) for dot gain, process control e.g. to ISO 12647-2 or G7, and proofing. These can only be measured using a handheld device or in many cases with Prinect Image Control 3
