Heidelberg UK has created a LinkedIn! site and is encouraging anyone involved in print to connect at https://www.linkedin.com/company/heidelberg-uk
“We want to provide customers with a forum where they can find out about our products, services and events and also benefit from tips, insights and wider industry news,” says Gerard Heanue, managing director. “LinkedIn! is the most popular social media for business to business connectivity and we know that many of our customers are among over 400 million users globally. Its value is reflected in the $26bn paid for the business networking site by Microsoft last year.
“Heidelberg UK representatives, product specialists and technicians will use LinkedIn! as an additional way to keep in touch with customers and we would encourage anyone involved in print to contact them in person or through LinkedIn! to make suggestions about the type of information they would like to see disseminated in this way or topics they would like discussed in open forum.”
We have started by providing news about sales and events, including our presence at PrintWeekLive! (8 and 9 March) and our Simply Smart Spring Open House (29 and 30 March).
