Streamline Press seek extra reliability and quality from latest CtP investment

27/09/2016

Commercial printer Streamline Press has recently invested in a new Heidelberg CtP, opting for the latest generation Suprasetter A106. This is the latest in a long-term investment strategy created by the Leicester based printer, designed to offer their customers the highest quality print collateral available on the market.

The new 18 plate an hour plate maker has a dual cassette loader and was installed at Streamline Press last month. Impressed with the reliability and quality of its other Heidelberg investments, managing director Mark Lockley says: “This is a major investment to improve our speed and quality, so we had to be sure that we invested in a system that would give us stability and peace of mind, which I believe we have found in the Suprasetter A106. Our ultimate goal is to deliver world-class services to our customers, so any investment that supports this is worth every penny.”

Offering lithographic, digital and large format print, Streamline Press is also home to a substantial fulfilment and mailing house, services which are trusted by businesses across the UK. With that in mind, Streamline Press is keen to stay at the forefront of print technology, which is why they are dedicated to continual investment in the latest machinery, technologies and people.

The addition of this Heidelberg equipment is the latest in a long flow of investments at Streamline Press over the last year, in both new machinery and the recruitment of specialist staff, to ensure that services such as in-house mailing, fulfilment, miniature folding and other advanced technologies are readily available to their customers.

Impressed with the Suprasetter A106’s features, Streamline Press recognise that the CtP’s ability to run 24 hours unmanned will boost productivity and allow the company to have a more advanced pressroom.

Streamline Press will run Heidelberg’s Saphira low chemistry plates. Pledging “more than just print” to all of its customers, Streamline Press places huge emphasis on obtaining advanced credentials for its environmental efforts, quality and colour management, which is evidenced in their ISO 9001, ISO 12647, ISO 14001 and FSC accreditations, plus their commitment to being exclusively a Heidelberg house.
