Bann’s the man for Heidelberg postpress role

20/06/2016

Chris Bann has joined Heidelberg UK as a postpress specialist to cover the Midlands, Wales and Ireland. He fills a vacancy created by the promotion of Andy Jack to a frontline sales representative role.

Chris Bann has strong credentials in the industry, having worked for Clowes for over ten years and JayPak in Perth. Western Australia, for the last four years.

His roles have included training and supervising and he has experience in both prepress and postpress technology so has a broad production view. He welcomes the chance to take on a sales role.

“Heidelberg is the world’s largest and most innovative graphic arts supplier and it is not only a great opportunity but the right fit with my experience. I have prepress and postpress knowledge and can understand a customer’s viewpoint, having worked in a production environment for the last 15 years,” says Mr Bann.

Outside work, he likes to keep fit, play sports, listens to a wide range of music and enjoys walking his two border collies.

Northern sales manager Phil Buttress says: “Chris will be an asset to Heidelberg. He is a young guy with hands on production and management experience in the industry covering all areas. We look forward to him starting and welcome him to our team.”
