As the trend in Japan is towards Web-to-Print jobs, we see an inexorably increasing number of jobs with small runs and a vast variety of printed images.

We noticed that job preparation and make ready used up a large amount of time in our production process.

We managed the huge number of such jobs that saw an increase of 30 % per year without additional operating personnel in production, and the automated functions of the Prinect production system were a great help in that.

We improved standardization of the printing process and introduced the Color Management System and were thus able to further reduce the paper waste in print by 40 % and the make ready time by 50 %.

We are very satisfied with the achievements.
