Founded in April 2018, The M has quickly established itself as a leading packaging printing company in South Korea. Providing end-to-end services from packaging design to printing and postpress, The M has built a solid reputation as a reliable mid-sized enterprise in the industry.

The company began with the acquisition of a pre-owned Speedmaster CD 102 printing machine, which set the foundation for its focus on quality and customer confidence. Drawing on more than three decades of experience in UV printing, CEO Park Taeyoung guided the company’s development with a focus on technical expertise and operational excellence.

Initially engaged mainly in subcontracted work, The M expanded to direct client relationships through continuous operations and a consistent commitment to quality and delivery. This approach helped the company attract a strong client base and achieve sustainable growth. Consulting services tailored to client-specific printing challenges have further contributed to its success.

Strategic investments in equipment and productivity

To enhance efficiency and internalize plate-making processes, The M invested in Suprasetter CtP systems from HEIDELBERG, achieving significant gains in both turnaround time and quality control. In March 2023, the company became the first in Korea to introduce the Speedmaster CX 104-8+L, a high-performance UV printing machine optimized for Korean ink characteristics.

This equipment upgrade has improved print quality, reduced production time, and increased automation through Prinect Instant Start software. Since installation, The M has reported substantial revenue growth and strong customer feedback on print consistency and UV curing quality.

Expanding into new markets with advanced inspection technology

Specializing in packaging for health supplements and cosmetics, The M is now preparing to enter the pharmaceutical packaging market. As part of this expansion, the company invested in a Diana Easy Plus 85 gluer from Mastermatrix in September 2025 — the first in Korea to feature integrated online inspection capabilities.

This system supports single, three-, four-, and six-panel gluing, with Masterwork’s Digiset / Driveset automation allowing digital storage and modification of settings. Features such as defect ejection and inline inspection cameras enable precise and efficient gluing and quality control in a single process.

The M places strong emphasis on maintaining its equipment in optimal condition through regular inspections and the use of genuine parts. A clean, well-organized production environment supports operational efficiency and consistent quality across all projects.
