Screeny Digital screen printing plates feature an ablation layer (LAMS layer) which is applied to the photopolymer.
This ablation layer is removed digitally using a spot laser. The screen printing plate is then exposed, washed out, and mounted using the tried-and-tested steps.
Gallus Screeny Digital is based on technological progress made with the S-Line generation. Gallus Screeny S-Line Digital offers optimum ink flow, high stability, and optimum torsional strength.
Gallus Screeny Digital are versatile screen printing plates for high ink application or a large number of openings. Applying a coating allows special reliefs and other effects to be created.
The proven printing processes remain unchanged. The aim is to integrate Screeny Digital into the existing digital flexographic workflow. A typical device for digital imaging of Screeny Digital is the Cyrel Digital Imager (CDI) from Esko.
With Screeny Digital, it is possible to press ahead with rotary screen printing in the CtP area without any switching costs and additional investment. An analog film is no longer needed.
