Our foundry in Amstetten, Germany, is the competence center where we cast side frames, cylinders, and the base frames for all our Speedmaster presses, no matter if assembled in Wiesloch or at our factory in Qingpu, China.
The 1500°C hot iron is used to produce 3,000 different parts weighing between 500g and 5 tons.
A Speedmaster may spend up to 2,000 hours in our assembly and consists of about 100.000 different parts, which undergo – once arrived in Wiesloch or Qinpu – final detailed quality checks.
