With the CO₂-neutral Suprasetter and the Prinect Production Manager, Sensia AG is continuing its strategy of automating its production workflow as extensively as possible.
“We wanted to replace our sheetfed offset workflow, which previously consisted of products from different suppliers, with a fully integrated system. Heidelberg Switzerland offers us not only outstanding printing technology and advanced workflow software, but also the right consumables,” says Managing Director Marco Herren.
The Suprasetter A 75 DTL, along with a Speedmaster XL 75 and a Speedmaster SX 52, are fully integrated into Prinect Production. With a largely automated job workflow and dynamically generated templates via Smart Automation, Sensia AG will be able to significantly speed up production from data input to finished print products—delivering jobs more efficiently and with greater reliability than before. Their partner company, Canisius AG in nearby Fribourg, is also integrated into the production workflow.
In addition to the commercial print market, Sensia AG is also active in packaging. The company uses a Kama ProCut 76 die cutter and a Diana Easy 115 folder-gluer. Prinect Production includes the Signa Station Packaging Pro module, which enables users to view folding carton mockups in a web browser in a 3D space—either as flat die-cuts or fully folded boxes. “This is a valuable and practical feature that our customers really appreciate,” says Production Manager Simon Studer.
