Heidelberg® folding rollers consist of a hard steel core with
a corrugated surface and large journals, which, together with the
special ball bearings, ensure extremely smooth running. Embedded in
the steel core are polyurethane rings of 15 mm width, arranged in
the direction of paper travel, which enable a precise guidance of
the sheet through the press.
We have expanded our folding roller portfolio and offer you
the following:
Folding rollers "Classic": Proven quality. Your advantages
in comparison to refurbished folding rollers:
- Better folding quality
- Higher grip for better productivity and folding quality
- Optimum smooth running
- Longer lifetime
"Extra Grip" folding rollers: Setting new benchmarks. The
"Extra Grip" folding rollers represent a new standard in folding
roller technology. The most important feature is the changed ratio
of steel and PU segments: At 9 mm, the steel segments are
considerably narrower than before, which means that there are
approximately 30 % more polyurethane rings per roller. There is no
overlapping of the corrugated steel segments in the format range.
The "Extra Grip" folding rollers offer the following
benefits:
- Perfect "Grip" on the paper resulting in best productivity
and folding quality
- No marks on critical paper
- Excellent folding accuracy, exact transport of the
signature
- Low static charge
