Folding Hook Bracket
Essential to high-quality folding. The newly designed
Heidelberg® folding hook bracket for Diana® Folder Gluers
significantly improves folding hook operation. More sensitive fine
adjustment is achieved through a new ratchet-type knurled nut with
replacement of the worm spring by a spiral spring with textile
belt. The long, slim design of the folding hook bracket makes it
easier to set the spring return force of the folding hook.
A damper at the stop cushions the rebound impact of the
folding hook and allows the Diana folding carton gluer to be run
faster and more smoothly. The improved folding hook bracket needs
only two customized folding hooks in order to produce almost all
carton types. The new design of the folding hook itself and its
mounting contribute to significantly reduced makeready time.
Like all our service parts, our Original Heidelberg folding
hook brackets are made using long-lasting, robust materials which
are slow-wearing and deliver consistently high quality in the long
term. Even at high speeds, sensitive blanks are handled gently.
Furthermore, the folding hook bracket can be retro-fitted on
almost all older Diana models. A retro-fit brings better folding,
gentler handling of material and a faster run.
