Stitchmaster ST 450 - The Creative Saddlestitcher.

1		Vertical or Horizontal Feeder. Mobile feeders provide great flexibility. Safety grippers ensure reliable production and high productivity.
2		Saddle chain. The saddle chain has its own drive to ensure smooth running and optimize handling of signatures at high speeds.
3		Cover Folder Feeder. The cover folder feeder ensures highly precise folding, even with very small formats down to 120 x 105 millimeters (4.72 x 4.13 inches).
4		Monitoring devices between the feeder and stitcher. Quality is ensured in the trimmer by lateral checking of product thickness and length and optionally of the width as well.
5		Control System. An ergonomically designed touchscreen with graphical user interface and self-explanatory icons, in accordance with the proven operating concept from Heidelberg.
6		Stitcher. In the stitcher, high productivity is achieved by stitching booklets while they are in motion. The clinchers are easy to set and readily accessible at all times because they are not blocked by the front saddle chain.
7		Heidelberg stitching heads. The Heidelberg stitching heads used in the Stitchmaster ST 450 are made of highquality materials to make them particularly wear-resistant.
8		Trimmer. In the trimmer, high precision and product quality are ensured by halting the conveyor belts for trimming. A central trim attachment for producing double-ups and a triple cut attachment for three-ups. The production possibilities can be extended further with a transport attachment for small formats.
9		Compensating Stacker. The compensating stacker ensures reliable delivery and precise pile formation at high speeds with small and special formats as well as multiple-ups.
