Wide Range of Deliveries

A number of different deliveries can be used to lay out the signatures exiting the folding machine ready for inspection. The choice ranges from simple stream deliveries and the Twinstacker vertical stack delivery to horizontal stack deliveries and the Speedbander automatic pack delivery. Most deliveries are also equipped with pressure (N) rollers to press down the signatures, thereby reducing the volume of the pile and facilitating downstream postpress operations. Marking devices that stagger piles laterally make it easier to remove the folded products. With multiple-ups, the individual repeats can also be pulled apart. The delivery used therefore plays a key role in determining the productivity of the entire system. The excellent performance of the folding machines in the Stahlfolder range can only be achieved with appropriate deliveries.
