Swing-Deflector and Combination Buckle Plates
The first buckle plate on the Stahlfolder TH/KH is equipped with a
continuous sheet stop and a continuous buckle plate infeed profile.
This ensures the best possible fold quality, even at high machine
speeds. Swing-deflector buckle plates are used in the standard
version. Combination buckle plates are available as an option and
enable all key buckle plate adjustments such as clearance, buckle
space and pretension of the lower buckle plate infeed profile to be
made on the fly.
A motorized combination buckle plate is also available to
optimize the process still further. Its sheet stops are positioned
according to the fold type and format, and the fold length is
adjusted automatically if angles change. When starting a new job,
it is always ensured that the sheet stops are absolutely parallel -
even when acting as deflectors.
