Extensive training for international managers from the print
media industry with acknowledged speakers
The Print Media Academy of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG
(Heidelberg) is issuing invitations to its sixth Winter University
to international managers within the print media industry. From
March 11-16, participants will meet for a five-day refresher
seminar program where they can exchange ideas on current
developments and trends in the industry. The venue for the Winter
University 2007 is the southern Chinese metropolis of Shanghai.
How should I position my company in relation to my
competitors? What investments do I make to make my company
competitive in the future? How do I guarantee outstanding quality
and optimize my workflow? And, finally, what will the successful
marketing of my products look like? These are the central issues
that managers have to face if they want to be successful in
today's markets.
These are the very issues that form the focal point of the
presentations, workshops and discussions of the Winter University
2007. As in previous years, the Print Media Academy has invited a
string of top quality speakers. Along with in-house specialists
from Heidelberg itself, there are industry experts from Australia
and South East Asia, as well as top ranking representatives of the
Chinese print media industry. All of them will be presenting their
views and experiences reflecting what happens in practice.
There is also time outside the seminars for specialist
discussions and some personal networking - whether over lunch, at
evening get-togethers or on a joint plant visit to Shanghai Tobacco
Printing. As they exchange views with colleagues from various
countries, participants obtain valuable insights into other markets
and can take away some ideas for their own strategies.
"The Winter University has established itself in the
industry as an international forum," sums up Bernd Schopp,
Head of the Print Media Academy. "This is where top
international managers find out about current developments and
exchange experiences to be fully prepared to meet future
challenges."
The Winter University 2007 will be taking place at the Ramada
Plaza Shanghai. The hotel is on the Business Mile of the
Nanjing Road. The cost of the seminar is 3,500 US-Dollars (2,700
Euro). The price includes accommodation, lunch and drinks, as well
as all seminar documents and specialist literature. The languages
of discourse in the seminar are English and Mandarin Chinese, with
simultaneous interpretation available.
