"What makes you strong and successful?" asks the
Print Media Academy (PMA) of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG
(Heidelberg) on the cover of its new seminar catalog for 2006. The
answer is "knowledge" and that is what's on offer in
over 70 different training courses, seminars and workshops.
The seminars are split into three sections, each covering a
broad range of subjects - sales and management, industry
expertise and Heidelberg production and application expertise.
Bernd Schopp, Head of the PMA, explains: "As well as
traditional practical product training, we focus on new print
applications, new technologies, marketing, sales and management.
These wide-ranging combinations allow us to help our existing and
potential customers react to constant innovations and keep pace
with technological changes."
The 2006 catalog also includes information on in-house
seminars, customized coaching, company-specific HR development and
the "Succession in the Family Business" program.
The Print Media Academy is a training and communication
center for the print media industry and provides a platform for
sharing knowledge. In 2005, the PMA celebrated its fifth
anniversary. It is certified in accordance with the international
standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
The 2006 seminar catalog is also available in English, but
this version only covers product training. It is ready for shipment
by February 2006.
