For the third time print and media managers from around the
world will get the chance to gain hands-on experience through one
week of intensive training.
The Print Media Academy (PMA) of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen
AG (Heidelberg) will hold their next Winter University (January
15-20, 2006) after the United Arabic Emirates and Brasil in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia, one of the 13 sites within the international PMA
network.
Designed as a complimentary program to the Summer University
in Heidelberg, Germany, the Winter University provides participants
with practical management expertise focusing on business
strategies, innovative production processes, and sales in print
media businesses.
In collaboration with industry experts from Europe and Asia
Pacific like the Melbourne-based management consultancy
"Synthesis Australia PTY Ltd.", PMA has developed program
covering a wide range of topics. It offers insights into new
marketing strategies, technology trends in the print media
industry, finance and controlling as well as standardization and
workflow issues. In order to be well prepared for the future, print
and media executives will receive strategic hints on how to find
new business opportunities and expand into new areas.
"During our next Winter University, we will support
managers discover new opportunities to master the challenges of the
print media industry - not just through professional lectures and
workshops, but also by networking with other participants,"
says Bernd Schopp, Head of the Print Media Academy in Heidelberg.
The open atmosphere within the group of participants from different
nations offers many opportunities to exchange views and
experiences, during and after classes. Breaks and evenings will be
filled with a diverse program of activities and excursions. Kuala
Lumpur, the Malaysian capital and a melting pot of cultures and
religions, also offers a great many sights and attractions that are
just waiting to be explored.
Enrolment starts immediately. The seminar fee is 1,990 Euro
(including accommodation, not including travel costs).
