Print Media Academy extends MBA course
The MBA (Master of Business Administration) Print
Manager course offered by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG
(Heidelberg) has proven to be very popular and is attracting
considerable interest. There is also considerable interest from
managers who do not have a university degree. A new course will
therefore start in the fall of 2001 and will run in parallel to the
existing Print Manager course which concludes with an MBA. This new
course will also be open to persons who have not completed a course
of higher education, though the course itself will not be concluded
with an MBA, but rather with the Heidelberg "Print Manager"
certificate.
Apart from the certificate, the qualification is of equal
standing in every respect. Both courses provide part-time study.
The minimum requirement for the Print Manager qualification are
high school qualifications, at least two years practical
experience, successful completion of an aptitude test and an
excellent knowledge of English, while the MBA course requires
entrants to have a diploma or bachelor degree.
The Print Media Academy from Heidelberg provides the graphic
arts industry with a unique event and training center. It enables
customers and interested parties to prepare themselves for the
latest market needs with the help of practical training. The
extensive range of seminars include management and product training
courses, plus the Print Manager course.
"We hope that our various courses of study will help our
customers and managers in the graphic arts industry be more
successful", explains Dr. Bernd Kaiser, Head of Science at the
Print Media Academy."
