Innovative solution for direct mailshots, electronic forms and
print-on-demand
The extensive know-how of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen
(Heidelberg) is reflected in a wide range of products and
components for the most diverse of finishing applications. The
latest addition to this range is the Ti 55 Proline inline buckle
plate folder. This unit folds personalized print sheets or
continuous paper quickly and inexpensively, without any need for
intermediate stacking or new feeds. The user thus benefits from an
innovative solution that enables him to offer services such as
direct mailshots or print-on-demand. This folder is equally ideal
for digital printers and conventional print shops.
On sheetfed presses, the print sheets are fed directly to the
folder, where they are straightened and folded. A sheeter cuts the
sheets from web presses, whereupon they are then sent to the
folder. Alternatively, web products can be wound back onto a reel,
fed by the unwind unit to the sheeter for cutting. They are then
folded inline.
The inline folder can be shipped with four or six buckle
plates and can easily be extended with a second or third station.
All Stahlfolder delivery systems can be used to boost production
and quality. Additional inline processes such as gluing,
gatefolding, cutting or scoring enhance the inline folder's
capabilities and also add value to the end product.
