Packaging printing with global potential
A whole range of analyses and studies show that the packaging printing sector promises to deliver sustainable, long-term growth. By 2020, for example, paper and cardboard consumption in this sector is set to grow by more than 150 percent in Russia, 100 percent in China, and 17.5 percent in Germany - per capita!
The latest edition of the Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG customer magazine highlights exactly how numerous print shops around the world intend to get in on the action. The writers at Heidelberg News describe the development of the Indian company Parksons Packaging, which began to specialize in packaging printing twelve years ago and has since been able to target customers outside India.
