Heidelberg relaunches customer magazine
As part of its new strategic focus, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has relaunched its popular customer magazine "Heidelberg News". The latest edition comes complete with a new concept and attractive layout.
"Firstly, we've expanded the range of subjects per issue and, secondly, the magazine will be appearing more frequently," said Heidelberg CEO, Bernhard Schreier, summarizing the new developments. "We're doing this to give our different customer groups an up-to-date overview of our entire solutions portfolio and to maintain a regular presence among customers and readers." The first edition of Heidelberg News appeared in 1930. Mr. Schreier said that Heidelberg is looking for the relaunched magazine to remain true to its traditional brief of providing readers with "suggestions and advice for progressive printers".
The objective is to give the reader tips and tricks for everyday working, including making him familiar with innovative products and solutions from Heidelberg and providing him with inspiration for his own business through examples of other printshops.
In this vein, issue 251 features exemplary business models from Heidelberg customers in Germany, Spain and the USA, traces the development of the Suprasetter, explains the concept behind the Printmaster, highlights the flexibility of the Speedmaster CD 74 and gives the reader an insight into surface finishing techniques. What's more, the magazine also takes a look at the Chinese printing market, provides useful insurance tips for companies in the print media industry and profiles Heidelberg's Leipzig site, where postpress products have been manufactured for 125 years.
