Heidelberg will exhibit at IFRA 2000 in Amsterdam, the leading
trade fair for publishing and media technology, on a
390 square meters booth
After the successful launching of the Mainstream 80, the first gapless newspaper press in full operation at drupa in Düsseldorf, Heidelberg will announce the launching of a new press to complement the range. The Omnicon™ control system and its Omnipage automatic page recognition system will be shown on the booth. The Magnapak newspaper inserting system will also be presented.
Heidelberg will say more about the press configuration for The Telegraph Group that ordered seven Mainstreams with a total of 263 printing couples to be installed at two British sites, West Ferry Printers Ltd (London) and Trafford Park Printers Ltd (Manchester).
