The 2004/2005 Annual Report of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG
(Heidelberg) has won not one but two awards at the 2005 Vision
Awards, an event organized by the League of American Communication
Professionals (LACP), which is based in the US city of San Diego.
In the overall evaluation, the jury of international PR
professionals put the Heidelberg report in the number one spot in
its list of the top 100 reports worldwide, with 99 out of a
possible 100 points. The report also received a Platinum Award in
the "Most Engaging Awards" category.
Over 1,900 reports from 16 different countries were submitted
for the jury's appraisal in categories such as First
Impression, Report Cover, Letter to Shareholders, Report Narrative,
Message Clarity and Creativity.
Giving his reaction to this latest success, Heidelberg CFO
Dr. Herbert Meyer stated "The LACP's award proves that the
Heidelberg Annual Report can hold its own with the very best, even
in international competition. It also demonstrates to potential
investors that the report provides all the information required to
make a proper assessment of the company."
The Heidelberg 2004/2005 Annual Report has already been
awarded the title of best annual report on the M-DAX by the
business publication "manager magazin". It also
received a bronze award in the Deutscher Designer Club's
"Good Design 06" competition.
