Heidelberg customer magazine wins award in Europe's largest
contest for corporate publications
Heidelberg has got off to a good start in its new publishing
venture. Just two issues after relaunching its customer magazine
"Heidelberg News", the company's flagship publication has won a
silver medal at Europe's largest corporate publishing contest. In
the "Business-to-Business" Industry/Technology/Energy category,
"Heidelberg News" was second only to the Ruhrkohle AG magazine.
The "Best of Corporate Publishing Award" was organized by
Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP), Europe's largest association in
this media discipline, and the trade magazines acquisa, Horizont
and w&v. The contest was being held for the third time and
attracted entries from 537 corporate publications in eight main
categories - the highest number ever. The fact that the
magazine won second place at the first time of asking was even more
pleasing for Heidelberg and its service provider signum from
Mannheim.
The certificate was presented to the Heidelberg News team
(Matthias Tritsch, Dietmar Seidel and Stefanie Woytowitz) in front
of 450 visitors to the FCP conference devoted to "Communication in
Excellence - Corporate Publishing creates values" in Munich.
This success is well-timed as it coincides with the 75th
anniversary of Heidelberg News.
