German Executives Acknowledge Heidelberg's Leading Image

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg, Germany), the leading solutions supplier for the print and media industry, has an excellent image according to Germany's top managers.

This is the result of a survey carried out by "Manager Magazin", which analyzed the image of major German companies. The survey revealed, just as it did two years ago, that Heidelberg is the number one in the plant and mechanical engineering sector, followed by MAN AG and Linde AG.

Bernhard Schreier, Chairman of the Management Board at Heidelberg, accepted the award on Wednesday. "This award confirms our leading role in the graphic arts industry and proves that our customers have fully understood our evolution into a solutionsprovider", said Schreier. The managers listed customer orientation and product and management quality as the key factors that make up a company's image. In the overall assessment, which included some 172 companies, Heidelberg improved its ranking one place to 24th.

The survey was carried out by the renowned Emnid-Institute in Bielefeld. Around 2,500 directors, CEOs and managers were asked about the image of Germany's one hundred largest companies and major brands from 16 industries. This is the most extensive and thorough survey of company mage ever conducted in Germany.
