Die Veranstaltung "Summer University" findet in englischer Sprache statt, daher ist auch die Vorankündigung ausschließlich in Englisch gehalten.
In the Mexican Cancun between August 31-September 5, 2008, international experts and executives from the print media industry will meet. During this time they will deepen their expert knowledge and share experiences as well as success strategies.
The Print Media Academy (PMA) of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG invites you to the ninth Summer University. For the first time, the event will take place in Mexico. The four-day intensive seminar in Cancun is above all geared towards participants from Mid- and South America as well as North America; it is, however, also open for anyone interested from other regions as well.
"Competitive pressure and market dynamics continue to increase. Managers from the print media industry always have to be in the know about current trends in the industry and new methods regarding corporate management," says Bernd Schopp, Director of the Print Media Academy. Therefore, business aspects will above all be central to the seminar program.
Experts from Heidelberg as well as internationally renowned speakers will discuss innovative marketing approaches and elaborate on modern management strategies to help increase productivity. Further talks and discussions will provide new angles on the subjects of finance, controlling, and personnel management. The participants will find out about drupa 2008 highlights and the Estro program, and will be able to discuss their own experiences with the experts and receive individual advice.
The Summer University has established an important international forum within the print-media industry. Specialists and managers from all over the world use the opportunity to share know-how about their country-specific experiences on an informal basis and make new contacts. The Summer University in Cancun is also rounded-off by an attractive social program, which, for example, includes an evening event for all participants.

The course fee is 2,600 Euro. The price includes accommodation (four nights), all documentation, lunch and beverages. There are a limited number of places.
