WashStar - for Washup Device Self-Cleaning.

Thanks to WashStar, you spend less time cleaning your press. A fully automatic washup program replaces manual cleaning of the collecting troughs under the blanket and impression cylinder washup devices of the Speedmaster SM 102, Speedmaster CD 102, Speedmaster SX 102 and Speedmaster CX 102. This saves valuable time and increases press uptime - you can continue printing while WashStar is working.
This quickly pays dividends, not least for short runs requiring frequent washing. WashStar makes use of the fact that cleaning agent does not use up all of its cleaning power in a single blanket washup. It is collected in a tank and the largest particles of dirt are removed by sedimentation before it is reused to rinse the collecting troughs. This is highly convenient and saves a significant amount of time.

The fact that WashStar collects the cleaning agent centrally allows it to be recycled in a separate system - EcoClean. Up to 90 percent of the cleaning agent can be filtered and reused in the blanket washup device.
