If we want to meet the demands of today's rapidly changing print media industry, we need to do research and development for continuous innovation. This is one component of "securing the future of print media".
Innovations are the key success factor for a company's long-term competitiveness. The Predevelopment Department is particularly involved in this core task.
Our predevelopment research aims at creating new, applicable and secure solutions. They will increase the efficiency of our products and will help to market them easily.
We work closely together with external research institutes and universities to complement and further develop our core competence. In addition, students and interns contribute innovative technical knowledge to the process.
Design Award to Speedmaster CD 74
The Speedmaster CD 74 from Heidelberg has been awarded a recognition to the most prestigious German design prize. It is the first printing machine to receive the Designpreis der Bundes- republik Deutschland, an award sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Econo- mics and Technology.
