Heidelberg showcases comprehensive range of solutions for
sheetfed offset at China Print in Beijing
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is exhibiting a
comprehensive range of solutions covering the entire added value
chain of sheetfed offset printing at China Print 2009, which is
taking place in Beijing from May 12-16. Heidelberg is presenting
integrated solutions for commercial as well as packaging printing,
including various locally manufactured exhibits, on an area of over
3,500 square meters (over 37,000 square feet).
Solutions, applications, emotions
Heidelberg is exhibiting to local and international
visitors at China Print 2009 in its drupa guise and rolling out the
core communication elements unveiled in Germany in 2008 built on
"HEI Performance" and "HEI Value". "HEI
Performance" promises premium performance in speed,
reliability, and print quality - features that ease the
day-to-day workload for every user. "HEI Value" is geared
to comprehensive process automation, greater productivity and thus
higher margins - features that benefit every printing company
and thus deliver added value that pays off.
In doing so, Heidelberg is focusing on continuity in its
corporate identity on the international stage. At the same time
Heidelberg has tailored its exhibits to the strong Chinese market.
The solution concept is mirrored in the structure of the company's
stand, which is split into five different areas:
-
Commercial Print Solutions focusing on small businesses
-
Commercial Print solutions focusing on industrial
businesses
-
Packaging solutions
-
Prinect, and
-
Anicolor
Visitors have easy access to these areas from the "HEI
Way", a gallery running through the hall.
During the trade show, the Print Media Academy (PMA) is offering a
series of seminars on "Workflow Integration", "Green
Printing", and "Press Maintenance". Alongside this
are two events aimed specifically at print buyers, explaining in
detail the role that cutting-edge print technology can play in
helping support creative design ideas and how an idea is
transformed into a valuable print product.
For the first time, visitors to China Print have the
opportunity to visit a local print shop to get a first-hand account
about various consumables and inks of the Saphira product portfolio
in practice.
China Print is the largest and most important trade show for
the printing industry in China. The show was launched in 1984 and
is this year being held for the seventh time.
