The System for the Inline Production of Square-cut Labels
The customers' demand in label cutting shows a tendency towards inline production. POLAR Label System SC-21MB is a system for the inline production of square-cut labels.
The prepared reams are fed to the high-speed cutter and cut into strips. The strips are manually transported to the buffer/loading table LT-S, from where they are transferred to Autocut 115 (90). Here, a complete layer of strips, e.g. 70 x 100 cm (27 1/2 x 39 3/8 in) is automatically taken over, aligned and cut into products. All labels produced in a cutting cycle are fed to the welding station of the bander in a single pass and then banded.
The preparation of cutting material and loading of the strip cutter can be carried out as flexibly as on POLAR Cutting Systems 2, 4, 5 or 6.
The POLAR Pressing Station can be integrated into the system for high-speed cutter loading. On Label System SC-21MB, the pressing station enhances both the cutting precision and the output since the remaining air is squeezed out of the prepared reams and the usual cycle of "clamping without cut" can be omitted.
