POLAR Compucut

POLAR Compucut is the innovative basic package for all printing and finishing companies. In order to utilize the performance of high-speed cutters and cutting systems more efficiently, downtimes need to be avoided. This is why POLAR has developed the POLAR Compucut software system.

The cutting programs are generated on PCs and then transferred to the high speed cutter. This means that the high-speed cutter is already programmed for the next job while the current one is still being executed.
POLAR Compucut is a modular software system which can be upgraded individually according to the customer's requirements.

With the "Data transfer from prepress" extension software CIP3 files can be loaded directly from various prepress systems. Using prepress data further reduces the make-ready time. To ensure an optimum program flow, the cutting programs are automatically or interactively optimized with all necessary comments, additional functions and operator prompting. Cutting programs are transferred directly on-line or off-line to the high-speed cutter. Job changes are performed with almost no make-ready time.
